I got an HTC Desire on Christmas Eve! YAY! So, far, apart from the battery life, I am loving it to bits.

Does anyone have any news on how far along the development of the DW Android app is, btw?

You should be able to subscribe to the espost community for public updates on the client. :)

For battery life help, I highly recommend JuiceDefender. It's an app that automagically shuts off your wifi/data/GPS when you're not on the phone (such as when the screen is off, or if you're far away from a location where it knows wifi exists).
